The Art Engine's main purpose is to contribute to the culture through promotion and support of the arts.

But to achieve this goal, it had to respond to a need: Helping artists manage their careers. Artist consultants are many, as are galleries and museums, but artists vastly outnumber the traditional outlets and venues where they can make their work known. Even the most extraordinarily talented artist will remain unknown if he doesn't exhibit and publicize his accomplishments.

Our idea was not only to find venues and opportunities that could place the artists in contact with patrons and the public at large but, in addition, to give each artist tailor-made tools to improve his or her image.

By helping them get more exposure and guiding them through the steps needed to actually become successful as artists, we provide them in essence with the time needed to create and progress in their art. Many artists are out of their depths or, more often, out of time, when it comes to promoting themselves and their work. They need help, even for tasks as simple as building an appealing, professional website—and getting traffic to that website—let alone writing a good biography, resume or press-release.

In the course of providing these services, the co-owners of The Art Engine, Julie Snyder, an artist herself and Corinne Simon-Duneau, a writer and a photographer, have met many talented artists who deserved exposure and whom they are now pleased to represent.

"No man has the right to dictate what other men should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence
in the creative spirit."
